Cambuslang Institute
Cambuslang Institute was built in the late 1800s and is situated in Greenlees Road opposite the Police Station.
The premises comprise a main hall, two lesser halls, meeting room, two kitchens, three bar areas and toilets.
The main hall has a stage and is 205sqm and can accommodate up to 266 people in concert style seating or 150 for catered functions and has a large kitchen and bar area.
The two lesser halls are 102sqm and can accommodate up to 100 people in concert style seating or 70 people for catered functions and they each have a bar area.
The meeting room can accommodate up to 15 people.
The kitchen is suitable for catering for functions but can also be used by customers who provide their own teas and coffees.
This facility can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities including courses and classes, arts and crafts, sports activities, community meetings, birthday parties, engagement parties, discos, wedding receptions, slimming clubs, martial arts etc.
