Museum development projects
We are working on lots of projects to ensure that South Lanarkshire’s museum collections are available to you in as many different ways as possible.
A core part of our work is to continually develop the museum collections, for example, through donations, developing new gallery displays and exhibitions, touring Curator's Choice in our main Libraries, inventory and digitising collections, working with partners and external organisations, object loans, research and developing online resources. On this page are examples of just some of our work.

Collecting and new acquisitions
South Lanarkshire’s museum collections continue to develop and we are offered lots of interesting items. Not all can be accepted, but many are now part of the collection.
