Club Active is designed to give you all the help and support you need to achieve your health and fitness goals. The staff are on hand to design and guide you through a tailored exercise programme and will offer ongoing support throughout. Club Active is free for all Fitness members and is necessary to ensure that you get the most from our Club gym and enjoy a safe and effective workout.
Appointment 1: Gym orientation
This one-to-one hour long session will get you comfortable with using the gym environment and equipment and ensure you know your way around for your next visit. You will complete a physical activity readiness questionnaire which will help the instructor to devise you a safe and effective workout.
Appointment 2: Individual exercise programme
This thirty minute session is a very focused session on firstly your goals, but ultimately the most effective way to achieve them via a bespoke exercise programme.
Appointment 3: Nutrition consultation
This thirty minute session is included to give you a basic understanding of the value of good nutrition and hydration when starting a physical activity programme. Please note that this session is optional
Appointment 4: Health check
This 30 minute session is designed to give you a starting point which helps measure success in aspects of fitness improvement, weight loss or gain, waist-to-hip ratio and blood pressure. Please note that this session is optional
Appointment 5: Personal training taster session
This 30 minute session gives you an opportunity to sample some of the innovative and incredibly motivating techniques that can be accessed by having your own Personal Trainer. Please note that this session is optional
