ActiveIT

All our libraries have ActiveIT learning centres offering free high-speed internet access and a range of standard  computing packages including MS Office 2007, Photo story and Moviemaker. In addition our centres offer access to a range of online learning resources covering basic computer skills, ECDL and the driving theory test.

You can book a computer in advance or just drop in - you don't even have to be a member of the library.  We'd advise you to book ahead as we often have busy periods.

Use of activeIT centres if free, however there is a charge for printing.

Booking procedure

You may book a computer up to 7 days advance and for a total period of up to 2 hours.  Bookings may be made in person or by telephone.  If the computer is not required by another user at the end of your booking period you may extend your booking by a further hour.

You will need either your library membership card to take up your booking.

If you are not a member of South Lanarkshire libraries you are very welcome to use activeIT but we will ask you for one form of identification.
