Youth Fitness Membership Survey

Youth Fitness Membership Survey

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture and South Lanarkshire Active Schools are always looking at creative ways to develop more opportunities for children and young people to take part in sport and physical activity.  For years we have seen a steady increase in young people accessing our local gyms and fitness classes.  Therefore, we feel now is the time to offer a bespoke membership for youths (age 12 – 17 years) to give them access to all our membership activities – Gym use, fitness classes, swimming and racquet sports.

To assist us in getting the membership tailored to the needs of young people, we have created a survey and we are looking for as many people from S1-S6 to complete as possible, as well as their parents / carers.  The results from this survey will provide us with valuable information we need to create a bespoke membership for young people, including appropriate pricing.

Note: We only ask that South Lanarkshire-based S1-S6 pupils and their parents / carers complete this survey.

For those who complete the survey there are great prizes up for grabs, including free memberships and MyZone fitness tracking belt.  In addition, one high school in each locality (EK, Cam/Glen, Hamilton and Clydesdale) will be able to win a fitness instructor for the day, the schools with the most survey responses will win this outstanding prize. Details at end of survey.

The survey can be accessed here :  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7W7FYDY

The survey is now live and ends on Friday 29th January 2021.
