Children and young people

Children and young peopleAll South Lanarkshire Libraries have bright colourful children's areas where you can find lots of great books for children from babies to young adults.

There are also DVDs for loan and computers are available. Our libraries are very family-orientated and offer lots of activities to get everyone involved from special holiday events to regular events for children from toddlers to young adults.

All our libraries have Bookbug sessions which are a great opportunity for parents and children to share stories and rhymes, have fun together and join in with other families.

During the summer children can take part in our Bookbug Reading Challenge and our Summer Reading Programmes.
