Museum development projects

Museum Collections Projects from South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture Museums.

We are working on lots of projects to ensure that South Lanarkshire’s museum collections are available to you in as many different ways as possible. A core part of our work is to continually develop the museum collections.

We do this in many ways, for example, through collecting, accepting donations, developing new gallery displays, touring Curator's Choice in our main Libraries, inventory and digitising collections, developing new exhibitions, working with partners and external organisations, object loans, enquiries and research and developing web resources. On this page are examples of just some the work we do.
