Shiona is deaf and has had to adapt to the changes of the enviroment around her throughout her entire life. This was inspired by her, to show that deafness is not to be treated so much like a disbility, and to provoke a change of attitude and awareness towards people who are deaf.
Script based on Shiona McClafferty's essay on her hearing loss.
Filmed, Directed and Edited by Amy Urquhart.

Funding Fair

Funding Fair

Looking for funding can be a major task for voluntary organisations and community groups. Often, there is a range of funders who can fund your project but the problem is knowing who to apply to, how to apply and finding the time!

Hopefully, the South Lanarkshire Funding Fair will help you find your way through the funding maze by providing direct access to potential funders so that you can meet and talk with them about the kinds of projects they might support.

The South Lanarkshire Funding Fair brings together representatives from various funding avenues to talk about their funding and support schemes. Each representative will have a display information stand.

Date: 13 Mar 2017

Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm

Cost: Free

Venue: Ballerup Hall, East Kilbride
