Songs of All Sorts

Location: East Kilbride Arts Centre

Time: 14:00

Songs of All Sorts 10 May 2026 2:00pm £16.00 / £14.00 (subject to £1.50 transaction fee) East Kilbride Arts Centre

Isosceles presents Songs of All Sorts.

Some of these songs are serious, some amusing, some old ones, some newer ones, some from different eras, some that you can sing along with, some you will know, some you won't know, some that you can tap your feet to, some that might bring a tear to your eye, some that you will smile at when you remember that you had forgotten all about them.

This brand new show has already had very enthusiastic reaction from audiences in Scotland and England.

The whole point about this show is that it is unpredictable - you really don't know what is going to happen next. The excitement is all in the diversity of the song selection.

Featuring songs by:

Ray Charles, Randy Newman, Fats Domino, Fats Waller, Tom Lehrer, Elvis Presley, Van Morrison, Eric Bogle, Monty Python, Chris De Burgh, Cliff Richard, Ketty Lester, Eagles, Thunderclap Newman, Frank Sinatra, Furey Brothers, Beatles, Andy Stewart, Clancy Brother, Buddy Holly, Norman Greenbaum, Morecambe & Wise, Christy Moore, The Dubliners, Everly Brothers, Val Doonican, Charles Penrose, Jim McCann, Pogues, and many more...

What the critics say about us;

‘An exceptional gift,’ THE SCOTSMAN.

'Almost brilliant.’ IRISH TIMES.

Location: East Kilbride Arts Centre

Time: 19:30

La Dolce Vita Swing Collective 15 May 2026 7:30pm £16.00 / £14.00 (subject to £1.50 transaction fee) East Kilbride Arts Centre

La Dolce Vita Swing Collective return wrapped in the late-night glamour of vintage Las Vegas, kissed with true dolce vita spirit - lyrical piano, velvet sax, warm bass lines, skipping drums and smooth vocals, with martini’s always close by.

Shaped by the Great American Songbook and the effortless Rat Pack cool of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and their sharp-suited circle, the band weave mid-century American swing with a touch of Italian romance - think moonlit piazzas, slow smiles and that irresistible amore per la musica - creating a sound that feels warm, elegant and made for centre stage.

Pop favourites float through the set in sumptuous swing-jazz style - The Beatles, The Jersey Boys, Queen and Michael Jackson - reimagined with polish, charm and a whisper of bella notte magic. It’s the kind of evening you plan your week around: intimate, uplifting and impossible to leave without a smile.

Available to book online or by calling East Kilbride Arts Centre on 01355 261000.

Cost: £16.00 / £14.00 (subject to £1.50 transaction fee)
