The Wizard of Oz (RSC version)

Come with us to the Land of Oz and find there really is no place like home. Featuring the classic songs including Over the Rainbow and If I only had a brain this enchanting musical really is one for all the family. Young people from the ‘Vertigo’ and ‘Vertigo 360’ groups are presenting this RSC version of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ as it is an adaptation for stage that uses as much of the aura of the film as possible in telling the story.

Amateur production

With Music and Lyrics of the MGM motion picture score by Harold Arden and E.Y. Harburg. Background music by Herbert Stothart, Dance and Vocal Arrangement by Peter Howard. Adapted by John Kane from the motion picture screenplay.

Performances by arrangement with MusicScope and Stage Musicals Ltd of New York.

The fabulous Artemis Scotland Ltd will be at the museum to take you through your paces as new recruits in these fun packed and informative First World War workshops. Come and sign up for one of our free available sessions.

Join Colonel McCall as he enlists you and takes you through your first drill exercise for Kitchener's New Army. Then learn some first world war First Aid with the Commandant, Mrs Monteith, Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) Nurse.

Tons of fun for all the family and informative too!

Suitable for 5 to 105 years.
