Following on from the success of last year, we are holding another Open Art Exhibition at Rutherglen Town Hall – so let’s show the world   what talent we have in the area.

Call Out to all Artists

We welcome submissions / entries from artists of any age and any stage in their career – both amateur and professional.

Encore Stars Academy presents Rock of Ages.

Get ready to rock! Rock of Ages is the smash-hit musical packed with the biggest rock anthems of the '80s. Performed by the talented adult company of Encore Stars Academy, this high-energy production features powerhouse vocals, hilarious comedy and iconic hits from Journey, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Europe, REO Speedwagon and many more. Whether you're reliving the soundtrack of your youth or discovering these classics for the first time, this electrifying show is guaranteed to have you singing along from start to finish. Contains strong language and adult themes.

Drop-in art and science activity.

Make amazing glowing images on light sensitive paper in the UV Drawing Room or test out your puzzle skills wearing the upside-down mirror goggles. Explore and experiment with the Light Box equipment to make special effects using mirrors, torches and kaleidoscope tubes. 

The Art of Light is a drop-in activity for all ages that will take place alongside our schedule of children’s summer classes.

Join The Jerseys as we celebrate the timeless music of the 100 million album selling Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. Incredible falsettos, beautiful acapellas - the authenticity of the sublime harmonies of the 60s and 70s - with a huge repertoire including 'Sherry', 'Walk Like A Man', 'My Eyes Adored You', 'Grease', Rag Doll', 'Stay', 'Let’s Hang On', ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ before finishing off with headline hit ‘Oh What A Night’!

This is much more than just another tribute show - this is a celebration of fantastic music performed by an array of incredible talent. The Jerseys have performed in various prestigious venues, visiting the length and breadth of the UK. Some notable shows include a performance for Her Majesty The Queen on The Long Walk, Windsor Castle for her 90th Birthday Celebrations, and internationally including The Paris Casino in Las Vegas.

Along with their live four-piece band of internationally renowned musicians, this all-singing all-dancing show features hit after hit, comedy and more – the complete night out which will have you dancing in the aisles of the theatre and leave you ‘beggin’ for more!
