Phoebe Cope, an Irish-born artist with a background in drawing, painting, and sculpture, uses observational field studies rooted in landscapes and natural history. She relies on drawing from life, fusing memory and direct observation to capture organic patterns, skilfully aligning eye, hand and heart. Through expressive technique, she celebrates the world's inherent beauty, passionately urging viewers to cherish and reimagine the diversity surrounding us.
Education: BA Fine Art Ruskin School of Art Oxford, MA Royal Drawing School
Exhibitions: Royal Academy, Royal Hibernian Academy, Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Society of Portrait Painters, Piano Nobile, Kilcock, Thomas Williams, Biggar Museum,Cnoc Buí. Recent: Hayward Gallery touring ‘ Acts of Creation’.

Hamilton Mausoleum will host performers Duo Marier - Neil (cello) and Austin (guitar), a musical duo blending classical training with a love for genre-crossing creativity. Neil and Austin met at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, but their collaboration truly began in the landscapes of the Scottish Highlands.With a mutual passion for chamber music, they create a space where cello and guitar can explore everything from classical to jazz, pop, folk, tango, and beyond.
They believe music has the power to uplift, comfort, and bring people together and their aim is always the same: to offer something warm, thoughtful, and full of heart.
The Mausoleum is cold so please wear suitable clothing.
Please arrive by 1:45pm at Low Parks Museum to be escorted to the Mausoleum.

Join us for bespoke building and creative construction between 10:30am-12:30pm on the first and third Saturdays of each month between February and October.
Whether our budding builders follow our changing weekly theme or create their own construction, we offer each participant the opportunity to showcase their brilliant builds between sessions in our special display cases in the museum’s reception area.
Only £4.25 per session, please book at reception as spaces are limited.
