Low Parks Museum

Lanarkshire Pride created the youth group 'Pride Connect' to support LGBTQ+ 16-24 year-olds in 2025. This is a creative space to socialise, build new skills and express themselves.

Backed by the National Lottery Community Fund and VASLan, the group has explored music production, visual art, drama, and other creative forms to spark conversations, build confidence and connections. The photography on display was developed in close collaboration with participants, who co-directed the imagery alongside photographer Gavin McCourt. These portraits document the very first Pride Connect sessions—capturing not only faces, but pride, courage, and connection.

Welcome to East Kilbride Camera Club 2025 Photograph Exhibition. Our exhibition comprises of favorite images from each of our members and those of our winners from this seasons club competitions.

EKCC was founded in the 1950s and we aim to keep it going for many years to come.  We are a group of photographers from various backgrounds, with differing levels of photographic experience, knowledge, ability and skill but all are passionate about photography.  EKCC is a place where like-minded people can meet and chat about all things photography related.

We meet during our club season (September to April) every Monday evening in East Kilbride Sports Club at Calderglen Park at 7.30pm and schedule events throughout the summer.

We are a very friendly club so please dont feel intimidated and get in touch with us if you are thinking of joining, as a beginner, a novice or an expert.  Our club will give you the support and opportunities you need to help you develop your photography skills.  New friends and members are always welcome to come along to join in. The first few nights are free to allow you to settle in and decide if you wish to join us.

A huge thank you to all of our members for their submissions and also to our sponsor John Wilson Photography for printing and mounting all the exhibition images.

Art by Ronnie Murray.

I am a dynamic artist/illustrator with a great passion for painting.

In many cases my art depicts scenes of places I have visited over the years.

I also enjoy producing nostalgic paintings of local interest which brings back many memories of by gone days.
