Seeking SLLC Board Trustees

Seeking SLLC Board Trustees

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture has been serving South Lanarkshire since 2002, first as a leisure trust, then in 2010 expanding to include cultural services. Our current operations cover a wide remit:

From the management of fitness gyms, cultural venues, community halls, libraries, country parks, an outdoor learning and adventure site, an outdoor water sports centre, golf courses, a Museum and an Ice Rink plus a range of outdoor sports pitches, bowling greens, tennis courts and our zoo at Calderglen Park.

We are seeking new trustees to help us with our mission of improving health and wellbeing. At its core, being a trustee is a governance role and good governance is fundamental to our effectiveness. Our Board meets a minimum of four times per year and new Board members will receive training and development to ensure they feel confident in their appointment and are able to undertake their legal obligations and contribute to our public charitable objectives.

We are making a difference, but we have more to do, your passion and insight could be the key to our future success.  Watch our video to find out more.

If you share our vision to encourage ‘Healthier, happier, more connected lives’ and would like to learn more about becoming a Trustee with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, then we would like to hear from you!

To learn more about these unique opportunities, and to find out how to apply, please email or call 01698 476262 (during office hours).

Please note, the closing date for applications is 22 August 2022.
