Restart a Heart Day - Learn Lifesaving CPR Skills
This Thursday our centres will be proudly taking part in National Restart a Heart Day, an annual campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and giving everyone the chance to learn this vital lifesaving skill.
Our free CPR demonstrations and come and try sessions are open to everyone, no experience needed! Whether you’re a first timer or looking to refresh your skills, our friendly team will guide you through the steps of performing CPR and using a defibrillator with confidence. You’ll gain practical knowledge that could help you save a life in an emergency.
Session times
- Carluke: 9:00am–11:00am
- Coalburn: 9:00am–5:00pm
- Larkhall: 3:00pm–6:00pm
- Strathaven: 8:00am–10:00am, 2:00pm–4:00pm, 8:00pm–9:00pm
National Restart a Heart Day is led by the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK), with the goal of empowering as many people as possible to take action when someone experiences a cardiac arrest. By taking part, you’re helping to build a community of lifesavers who can make a real difference when every second counts.
Come along, bring a friend and take the first step toward saving a life. Together, we can make our communities safer and stronger.
