The sad, sad story of the Duke's dog kennels – the story behind Chatelherault Country Park, a talk by Dr Phil Back.

To celebrate Book Week Scotland, Hamilton Library, Low Parks Museum and the Scottish Local History Forum are delighted to bring guest speaker Dr Phil Back to Low Parks Museum. Dr Phil Back, Trustee of Scottish Local History Forum, will be delivering this free illustrated presentation on the story of Chatelherault, the magnificent hunting lodge of the Dukes of Hamilton, and how against the odds it was saved to become one of Scotland’s finest Country Parks.

Join us to hear this fascinating tale at Low Parks Museum.

Doors open 6:30pm, talk begins at 7:00pm. Event finishes at 8:15pm.
