Summer of Sport 2026
Get ready for a summer full of activity, fun and new opportunities with South Lanarkshire’s Summer of Sport.
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is delighted to be supporting sportscotland’s Summer of Sport 2026, in collaboration with South Lanarkshire Council. The programme is all about helping children and young people get active, try something new, build confidence and enjoy the many benefits of taking part in sport and physical activity.
Throughout the summer holidays, a wide range of free and low-cost activities will be available across South Lanarkshire, with sessions for different ages, abilities and interests.
From football, basketball and multisport sessions to ice skating, tennis, handball, netball, inclusion activities and more, there will be plenty of opportunities for young people to get involved, stay active and have fun with friends.
