Our wonderful, highly rated Grotto has all the Christmas spirit you'll need to make some magical memories.

Meet the jolly man himself and have a chat, take some photos. Children receive a gift, small hot chocolate voucher for the Courtyard Café and reindeer dust to help the reindeer land on Christmas Eve.

Please arrive at the time you are allocated as there is a very small waiting area. You are welcome to visit the zoo before your visit - open from 10:00am until 3:30pm during December, zoo admission required.

Join our hero as they travel from South Lanarkshire to find their fortune in the big city…Glesga. But is it all it’s cracked up to be or is there truly, no place like home? 

Whether you’re 1 or 101, this Panto promises festive fun for all the family and features a knockout cast fae off the telly.

Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum… to our panto, you must come!

Welcome to a mystical magical fairytale pantomime kingdom… somewhere in the deepest, darkest depths of South Lanarkshire… where the locals are under threat from the gruesome Giant Greedyguts and his loathsome enforcer, Fleshcreep.

The Giant has gobbled up all the animals in town… except Moomoo: the disco dancing coo-coo of Dame Trot and her two kids… Jack and Jessie.

Jack loves Princess Lulu - Lulu loves Jack. But he’s just a commoner and surely they can never be wed. Or can they?

Trainee Fairy Farquhar loves Jessie - Jessie has her head in the clouds. And even if she realised, fairies can’t marry mortals. Or can they?

When Princess Lulu is kidnapped by the Giant, and Fleshcreep tricks Jessie into selling Moomoo for a bag of beans, is all hope lost? Or will Fairy Farquhar be able to use the explosive power of beans to get Jack and his friends up to the Giant’s castle in Cloudland before his lunch is served?

Find out in this year’s magical family panto, as we climb the magic beanstalk for a roller-coaster journey of adventure, laughter, thrills and spills.

Lanarkshire Cecilian Orchestra plus guest choirs Christmas concert.

The Town House in Hamilton will come alive with festive magic as the Lanarkshire Cecilian Orchestra presents its annual Christmas concert. 

This enchanting evening will feature stirring orchestral performances of The Nutcracker, The Chronicles of Narnia, A Christmas Festival, The Goblet of Fire and many more, weaving together classical elegance, cinematic wonder and festive cheer. Joining the orchestra are the delightful Wee Sing Choir and the talented South Lanarkshire Schools Choir, adding youthful charm and vocal brilliance to the celebration. Expect a heartwarming blend of seasonal cheer and a musical spectacle—a perfect way to ring in the holidays with family and friends.

Launching Low Parks Museum festive programme is our annual Christmas Concert courtesy of SL Harmonics.
