Collections enquiries & local history
As only a small percentage of the collection can be displayed at any one time, we run an enquiry service which allows you to find out about items in the collection.

Community Outreach
Our access team offer opportunities for as many people as possible throughout South Lanarkshire to participate in our events, projects and learning programmes.

Online collection
We are developing our online catalogue so that as much of the collections are available as possible. This is a long term project and we suggest that you check regularly for updates.

Photographic enquiries
We hold a large and varied photograph collection, many of the images can be purchased through our photographic reproduction service.

Our formal education programme offers a range of facilitated and self-led sessions, designed to complement the Curriculum for Excellence.

South Lanarkshire Museums Forum
The South Lanarkshire Museums Forum is a networking and advice forum for museums, heritage organisations and local and family history societies.

Talks and Tours
Talks and tours of the museum and its collections are often included in our museum access activities, they can also be offered to clubs, societies and community groups.

Low Parks Museum is housed in beautiful and historically significant buildings which were once part of the Duke of Hamilton’s estate.
