Our Headquarters office will be closed on 25 - 26 December and 1 - 2 January.
Leisure centres
All leisure centres will be closed 25 - 26 December, and all except Hamilton Water Palace and Larkhall Leisure Centre will be closed 24 December.
All leisure centres will be closed 1 - 2 January, and all except Hamilton Water Palace will be closed 31 December.

East Kilbride ice rink will be closed 25 - 26 December and 31 December - 2 January, and will be open shorter hours on other dates. Please check on East Kilbride facilities for details of opening hours over the holiday period.

Community halls will be closed 21 December - 4 January.
Burnbank Centre will be closed 21 December - 4 January.
Fairhill Lifestyles will be closed 25 - 28 December and 1 - 2 January, and will be open from 9:00am - 5:00pm on 23, 29 and 30 December and from 9:00am - 2:00pm on 24 and 31 December.
Hillhouse and Earnock Community Centre will be closed 21 December - 4 January.
Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre will be closed 21 December - 4 January.
Cultural venues
Carluke Lifestyles will be closed 25 December - 3 January.
East Kilbride Arts Centre will be closed 25 - 26 December and 1-4 January.
Fernhill Community Centre will be closed 22 December - 2 January.
Lanark Memorial Hall will close at 3:00pm on 24 December and will be closed 25 December - 4 January.
Rutherglen Town Hall will be closed 25 December - 4 January.
Springhall Community Centre will be closed 22 December - 2 January.
Stonehouse Lifestyles will be closed from 25 December - 4 January.
The Town House Hamilton will be closed 25 - 28 December and 30 December - 4 January.
Village Theatre East Kilbride will be closed on 25 - 26 December and 30 December - 9 January.
Libraries
All libraries will be closed from 25 December to 2 January. Some libraries will have additional closures / limited opening times. Please check the individual library's Contact details page for more information.
Low Parks Museum
Low Parks Museum will be closed from 21 December to 6 January.
Hamilton Mausoleum closed to the public in November, and will reopen for public tours in February 2026.
Outdoor facilities
Country parks
Facilities at our country parks will close at 4:00 p.m. on 24 December, and will be closed 25 - 26 December and 31 December - 2 January. Facilities will be open from 10:00am - 4:00pm from 27 - 30 December.
Calderglen Zoo will close at 3:00pm on 24 December, and will be closed 25 - 26 December and 1 - 2 January.
Golf courses
Golf courses will be closed 25 - 26 December and 1 - 2 January.
Outdoor Resource Base
The Outdoor Resource Base will be closed 24 December - 4 January.
Sports pitches
Synthetic pitches
Hamilton Palace Sports Grounds will be closed 23 December - 4 January.
Ballerup Recreation Area, Newton Farm Community Wing, and Tileworks, Bent and Lanark Racecourse synthetic pitches will be closed 22 December - 4 January.
Grass / blaes pitches
Pitches will be closed 15 - 19 December and 22 December - 9 January.
