Lanark Library

Lanark Library is located on Hope Street, off Lanark High Street, a short distance from the Sheriff Court and a few minutes walk from the main shopping area. 

The library provides a selection of adult fiction and non-fiction books, audio books, DVDs, newspapers, photocopier, fax machine,  refreshment machine, children's library and organised children's events.

The library's reference library has an extensive local history collection and contains the William Smellie collection of medical textbooks.

An activeIT learning centre with 9 PCs offering free internet and wifi is available for public use. An additional 2 PCs are located in the children's library.

The library has a meeting room available for hire.
