Rutherglen library

Rutherglen Library is located on Rutherglen Main Street adjacent to the Town Hall.

Rutherglen Library is a large library offering an extensive selection of adult fiction and non-fiction books, photocopier, a collection of standard reference books, children's library with an IT area for children and young people with 3 PCs and organised children's events. 

The Library also has an active IT learning centre with 15 PCs and printing and scanning facilities for public use. Active IT also offers free email and internet access and a range of training materials. The Library has a self-contained IT training suite with 12 PC's which can be booked for group use.

A newly refurbished Heritage Centre is located in the library where local and family history can be researched.
