Bring along your digital camera and get some expert advice on how to take the perfect photo. You will explore various tips and techniques for taking the best photo. Your photos will be edited and presented for an exhibition at Lanark Memorial Hall.

Join our Statement Lamp Shade Making Workshop. A perfect gift for someone, as well as a relaxing evening of making. Bring half a metre of your chosen fabric and you will leave with a fantastic lampshade all of your own making.

We'll take you through how to work the fabric best, share some ideas for further developing your lampshade and help you complete a gorgeous lampshade to take home with you.

You will need a half metre of fabric; a little bit of patience and we'll do the rest!

Make your own stamp and stencil at this workshop where you will transfer patterns to fabric using various methods; printing, stamping, transfer paper and dyes. You will take home a series of printed fabric samples.

This masterclass will teach you how to make a pair of light-weight trousers. Our tutor will show you how to cut out and sew your pattern together, make a hem and how to create an elasticated waist band.

All materials will be provided. Experience of using a sewing machine is essential.
