Rutherglen library

Rutherglen Library is located on Rutherglen Main Street adjacent to the Town Hall.

It is a large library offering an extensive selection of adult fiction and non-fiction books, photocopying facilities, a collection of standard reference books, and a children's library featuring a programme of organised events.

The library has an active IT learning centre with 4 Chromeboxes and 10 PCs with Office applications, and scanning facilities. Active IT also offers free internet access and WiFi for library members. The library has a self-contained IT training suite with 12 PCs which can be booked for group use.

A Heritage Centre is located in the library where local and family history can be researched.
