Willie Waddell Sports and Community Centre
Since opening in 1999 Forth Sports and Community Centre has been the hub for various sporting events and activities for the local community. In January 2025 Forth Library was added to the services available in the centre. The library offers free Wi-fi, printing and copying services, and a selection of books for lending. It also serves as pick up point for items requested from the wider South Lanarkshire Libraries collection.
This multipurpose sport and leisure centre's facilities include a large sports hall, community hall, Gym and 3rd Generation 5 and 7 aside all weather pitches.
The centre caters for a range of sport and leisure pursuits, fitness classes, special events, birthday parties and group activities. Why not pay us a visit and see just what we can do for you.
The facility was renamed The Willie Waddell Sports and Community Centre on 9 March 2019 and opened by John Greig MBE.
The centre has disabled parking (2 spaces), automatic entrance doors and accessible changing area. There is an accessible toilet, Hearing Loop, Language Line and Typetalk. Assistance dogs are welcome. One member of staff has stage one BSL.
