In the South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's Museum service, we are passionate about caring for and raising awareness of the rich cultural heritage of South Lanarkshire.

We develop and manage a fascinating collection of around 150,000 objects, using them in exciting and innovative ways to provide enjoyment and learning opportunities for all ages.

At Low Parks Museum, our 5-star visitor attraction in Hamilton, the varied and dynamic displays, exhibitions and activities help to bring the history of South Lanarkshire to life, both for local people and visitors to the area.

In addition, our outreach programme allows us to take the collections and services far beyond the museum itself and out into the wider community across South Lanarkshire, encouraging everyone to discover and celebrate our local heritage.
