The Museum Service is passionate about caring for, and raising awareness of, South Lanarkshire's rich cultural heritage. We manage a fascinating and wonderfully varied collection of around 150,000 objects. These help to provide enjoyment and learning opportunities for all ages and abilities.

Low Parks in Hamilton is South Lanarkshire's Museum. This visitor attraction boasts dynamic displays, exhibitions, activities and events bringing South Lanarkshire's history to life.

Immerse yourself in our story, then treat yourself and relax in the museum’s Mezzanine Café. With children’s activities, one off events, changing exhibitions, concerts and free parking and museum entry, there is plenty for everyone to see and do. Hamilton Mausoleum

Hamilton Mausoleum was one of the finest private tombs in the country and is now one of the town’s most famous buildings. The chapel has a massive dome, over 36 metres high.
